I haven’t blogged much lately because I’ve been busy trying to get into school. I’m timid about sharing that I’ve been applying for MFA programs, but…I have. I’m now awaiting the last response this year, having received rejection thus far. I’ve spent too much time at my desk, in front of a computer monitor lately, but I managed to get outside and see some sunshine yesterday. My wife and I ran a couple miles, then we took the kids out for a trail ride on our bikes.
Today, it’s back to writing. I’m working on a new science-fiction story I hope will resonate with readers, especially readers of Nathaniel Hawthorne from whom I’m shamelessly stealing ideas.
Meanwhile, I’m waiting impatiently to hear my story, “Look Away,” narrated on the Tales of Old Podcast. I’m told to expect it in April.
Now, it’s time for some breakfast.
